As our name suggests, we perform music, written by wonderful composers both past and present, that is seldom heard in our society today. We are proud of our reputation for playing music from Jazz to Symphony. The importance of music in our lives is evidenced by the barrage of it we hear everywhere. Unfortunately, however, it seems evident that our culture is progressively losing its contact with "classical" music. It is our hope that the media will recognize their responsibility to provide our society with a broad spectrum of music, including music for the passive listener and "head bobber", as well as music that also stirs the spirit. The element of music that seems to be absent in most our everyday lives is that which satisfies not only the emotions, but provides the listener intellectual gratification and passion. This, in part, is why the music of the great masters such as Handel, Bach, Stravinsky and so many others has prevailed.
